Visual Arts Auditions
Visual Art:
A. Visual Art applicants are to submit a portfolio with the following items:
1. Three (3) to five (5) works, (any medium -- drawings, paintings, mixed media works, etc.), that the applicant
considers their best work.
B. Also, Visual Art applicants are to submit sketchbook work, if available, and may also include
photography work for review during the audition session.
C. As part of the audition process, Visual Art applicants will have a fifteen minute period in which to draw
an already set up still life.
Photography:
Students auditioning for Photography are to submit the following items:
A. Ten (10) of their best images, preferably of a series of images following one common concept.
1. They should be no smaller than 8 x 10 and no larger than 17 x 19.
2. They should be in a portfolio behind plastic sleeves.
B. If the applicant has a working sketchbook, they should bring it to the interview also.
