ANOTHER SUPERB PERFORMANCE

at the “BEING SOLOIST” Concert

At 8:30 pm on a warm Thursday night a few days ago, it was hard to find a seat not occupied by jittery supporters in the Academy’s dim Abanico Theater. One was suddenly captivated by the harmony of a family revealed on stage by the spotlight. The “Being Soloist” concert began with two percussion players that created a rush of feelings over the audience. Violins followed with the great “Overture Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme” piece composed by Jean-Baptiste Lully. Cello and Violin beats swayed the audience side to side with sharp precision to the classical beats of Johann Sebastian Bach.

A&M Fashion Models are Talk of the Town

On Thursday March 1, the A&M Fashion Club held a spring fashion show showcasing the spring fashion trends of the season at The Academy of Arts & Minds Charter High School plaza at 6:00 PM. With the help from the local boutiques in the Grove, and members of the club, the A&M Fashion Club was able to put on a successful show.
